The 乐发IV Men's Hockey Panthers have recruited PEI native Zach Biggar who will play defence for the team. 

The 乐发IV Women鈥檚 Hockey Panthers are heading to Europe to play four games in three countries from August 19鈥�30, 2024.

Dr. Jessica Riddell, professor of early modern literature at Bishop鈥檚 University, will give the second Shannon K. Murray Lecture on Hope and the Academy on September 3, at 11 am, in the Dr. Steel Recital Hall, Steel Building, 乐发IV. 

Researchers from 乐发IV鈥檚 Active Living Lab are seeking people with cancer, or who have previously had cancer, to participate in a twice-weekly, 12-week exercise program.

The 乐发IV has teamed up with the Chief Public Health Office (CPHO) of PEI to provide 乐发IV students and any member of the University community at risk of experiencing or witnessing a drug-related overdose with free Naloxone kits through the provincial . 

鈥淢usic and the Mind Maritimes: Access to Music Education,鈥� a 乐发IV student and faculty interdisciplinary music research forum, will take place on Thursday, August 8, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm in Bill and Denise Andrew Hall, Room 142.

The 乐发IV congratulates alumna Alysha Corrigan, a former 乐发IV Women鈥檚 Rugby student-athlete, who captured a silver medal with Team Canada鈥檚 rugby sevens women's team at the 2024 Paris Olympics on July 30. 

The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the 乐发IV (乐发IV) is piloting an Indigenous vet camp from August 5鈥�9, 2024, with the aim of expanding the College鈥檚 acclaimed Dr. Tim Ogilvie AVC Vet Camp program to include a week-long camp dedicated to Indigenous students. 

乐发IV鈥檚 Canadian Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation (CCCCA) in St. Peter鈥檚 Bay, PEI, is hosting Climate Forum 2024 from August 12 to 16.
