The 乐发IV Foods and Nutrition program will host an Open House on Tuesday, September 9, from 4:30鈥�5:30 pm in the third-floor dining room of the Health Sciences Building, 乐发IV. All 乐发IV students are welcome and encouraged to attend!

During 乐发IV Welcome Week from September 1鈥�5, 2025, students will take part in a collaborative initiative titled 鈥淏ecoming Sustainable Panthers.鈥� 

Dr. Katie Koralesky, nominated by 乐发IV for a prestigious Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship, has been awarded one of the 2024鈥�2025 fellowships, valued at $140,000 over two years.

乐发IV鈥檚 Department of Athletics and Recreation raised over $19,000 on Friday, August 15, at the second annual 鈥淲omen Leaders of Today Supporting Women Leaders of Tomorrow鈥� Nine-Hole Golf Social at Fox Meadow Golf Course in Stratford. The funds raised will directly benefit 乐发IV鈥檚 eight female varsity teams.

Inge Dorsey, recently retired coordinator of both the Bachelor of Integrated Studies and the University 100 programs, received a University Award for Exemplary Service at 乐发IV's annual Celebration of Colleagues on May 29, 2025.

Climate-smart technology and policy are the main themes of Climate Forum 2025, hosted by 乐发IV鈥檚 Canadian Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation from August 18 to 20. 

Dr. D茅sir茅e Seib, assistant professor in the 乐发IV biology department, has been awarded the Jeanne and J.-Louis L茅vesque Research Chair in Human Health at the University, effective April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2028.

President Wendy Rodgers will resume her town hall series for members of the 乐发IV campus community with an August Check-In and Update on Wedneday, August 20, 2025.

Tyler Gallant, a sessional instructor in the Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering (FSDE), received a University Award for Support of Student Success at 乐发IV's annual Celebration of Colleagues on May 29, 2025.
