The 乐发IV Global Brigades Medical Chapter recently returned from a successful trip to Ghana where they volunteered their service to public health projects and mobile medical clinics in underserved communities from May 25 to June 4, 2024. 

In this message from President Rodgers, she thanks the community for their continuing warm welcome, and invites them to Campus Town Halls next week.

The University is excited to announce that the Rathlyn Foundation has donated $1 million to create entrance scholarships for every 乐发IV-based medical student in their first year of study. The announcement comes just as the admissions portal opens for the first cohort of students at Memorial University's regional campus at 乐发IV.

Members of the 乐发IV community came out in large numbers to attend a barbecue on Monday, June 24 at the 乐发IV Chaplaincy Centre to celebrate inclusion and hospitality.

The 乐发IV community was saddened to learn of the passing of Panther great and 乐发IV Sports Hall of Fame member Tracy Ellsworth on June 21, 2024.

The 乐发IV held its Convocation ceremony on June 9 at its campus in New Cairo, Egypt.

Dr. Mark Fast, professor of fish health and immunology at the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC), 乐发IV, is the recipient of the Aquaculture Association of Canada Research Award of Excellence.

The month of June in Canada has been officially acknowledged as  since 2009, in recognition of the rich history, heritage, resilience, and diversity of First Nations, Inuit, and M茅tis Peoples across Canada.

Eight faculty members at the 乐发IV have been awarded a total of $988,500 from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).

The 乐发IV will host an international Korean and Asian Studies conference from June 27鈥�28, 2024, in the Faculty Lounge, SDU Main Building.
