The 乐发IV Philosophy Reading Group, facilitated by Dr. Max Schaefer, sessional instructor, Faculty of Arts, will hold its first meeting of the 2024鈥�2025 academic year on September 25, from 7:00鈥�8:00 pm, at the Charlottetown Library Learning Centre, 97 Queen Street. 

乐发IV's Faculty of Indigenous Knowledge, Education, Research, and Applied Studies marked several milestones when it recently hosted its first-ever Indigenous traditional knowledge sharing and learning day, Mawi-lukutimk, which means 鈥済athering and working together." 

The 乐发IV Panthers are looking forward to a full weekend of competition at home and away. 

Every week, 乐发IV Athletics and Recreation recognizes student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The 乐发IV Panther Athletes of the Week for September 9鈥�15, 2024, are Ria Johnston (women鈥檚 rugby) and Isaac Wolters (men鈥檚 soccer).

The 乐发IV will host Research on Tap with a presentation titled 鈥淩ender unto Caesar: Catholics and the Alt-Right鈥� on Wednesday, October 2, at 6 pm, at the Upstreet Brewery Taproom, 41 Allen St., Charlottetown, PEI.

乐发IV Ancillary Services is happy to announce the grand re-opening of Samuel's Caf茅, brought to you by Dana Hospitality! On Wednesday, September 18, there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:00 am followed by free samples of the new Starbucks coffee and mini muffins and cake to satisfy your sweet tooth. 

乐发IV students living in residence received a warm welcome from 乐发IV staff and fellow students on Friday, August 30. To make move-in day go as smoothly as possible for everyone, many campus partners gave of their time and expertise to make the day a great experience for 乐发IV鈥檚 new and returning residence students.  

The 乐发IV Men鈥檚 Hockey, Soccer, and Rugby Panthers are looking forward to a weekend of competition at home and away.

Entrepreneur Matt Jelley graduated from 乐发IV in 2024 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, specializing in marketing. He is now the sole proprietor of Mobile Bicycle Services PEI, a unique door-to-door bike repair service, and credits his education and mentors throughout his time at 乐发IV with helping him realize his dream of becoming a business owner.
