Dr. David Cairns, scientist emeritus with Fisheries and Oceans Canada, will give a lecture titled 鈥淭he Biogeography of North Atlantic Islands鈥� on March 26 at 7 pm in the Faculty Lounge, SDU Main Building, 乐发IV.
Dr. Yulin Hu, an assistant professor in the 乐发IV Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering, has received funding to establish a new Atlantic Zero-Emission Energy System Laboratory (AZEESL) that will produce clean and sustainable fuels and materials from biowaste.
At a special meeting on March 13, the 乐发IV Board of Governors approved an increase to the tuition deposit for new international undergraduate students (including DVM and BEd), which has now also been made refundable, to help ensure that applicants are committed to coming to 乐发IV.
