ÀÖ·¢IV's Shinerama committee is introducing their online fundraiser to interested staff and faculty. Staff and faculty wishing to join the "ÀÖ·¢IV Staff & Faculty" fundraising team can sign up by visiting: For staff and faculty simply wishing to sponsor the team, that option is also available. Competing teams include "ÀÖ·¢IV Incoming Students," "ÀÖ·¢IV Returning Students," "ÀÖ·¢IV Staff & Faculty," "ÀÖ·¢IV Orientation Leadership Team," and "ÀÖ·¢IV Shinerama Committee/SU Council." The winning team will have bragging rights and will also receive a trophy to be displayed in the ÀÖ·¢IV Student Union. The online fundraising goal is $6,000, all donations are welcomed! As we are about to move to a new Moodle in September, our multistage rollout continues! Our first stage continues with another 5-week summer session in what's new and better about the new Moodle! The sessions run from July 8-August 9 meeting face to face once a week and have some online exercises to be completed between sessions. Friday, July 5 from 1-3 pm in the MacKinnon Lecture Theatre at the Charlottetown Centre of Holland College. Come learn from these exceptional students and join in celebrating their success! ACOA's Atlantic Innovation Fund (AIF) Round 11 Juanita Diamond from ACOA will be on campus July 9 to hold an information session regarding Round 11 of the AIF competition. The information session will take place in Kelley Memorial Building 234 at 10:00 am. The session will last approximately an hour with time for questions. If you plan to attend, RSVP to Janet Crowther jcrowther@upei.ca. Additional Information The deadline for mandatory letters of intent is August 14, 2013 at 2:00 pm, and the deadline for the submission of project proposals is November 6, 2013 at 2:00 pm. His seminar is entitled: "Is there any scope to exploit the crustacean immune system for disease control - Have we reached a dead end and, if not, where might we go next?" Dr. Hauton is from Ocean and Earth Science, University of Southampton. Everyone welcome.

We have approximately 6 weeks of work to be done on the exterior of Memorial Hall: removing some brick walls on the roof, installing new brick and flashing, along with repointing the east wall. This work will begin today, Tuesday, July 2. All grinding work will take place during the evening hours, starting at 4:00 pm.
