General Information
Below you will find some helpful information that will help make your PEI and ÀÖ·¢IV experience more enjoyable.
What to bring with you
While living in residence students will be provided with a bed, desk, lamp, mirror, sheets, pillowcase, and blankets. Please be advised that the dress code for class is informal. We recommend that students bring the following items with them to PEI:
- Casual clothes for daily wear
- Sweatshirts and/or sweaters
- Warm jacket
- Rain jacket
- Running shoes
- Towels and face cloths
- Laundry soap (laundry services available in residence)
- Personal hygiene items (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush...)
- Swimsuit and a beach towel
- Sunglasses and sunscreen
- Prescription medication (if needed)
- ATM card
- Government-issued identification with your current picture and birth date
- French-English dictionary (or of your first language)
- Provincial Health Card*
*However, medical insurance from Quebec may not cover the total cost of a hospital visit and therefore some students choose to purchase an additional insurance to cover the difference in price.
