General Information

Below you will find some helpful information that will help make your PEI and ÀÖ·¢IV experience more enjoyable.

What to bring with you

While living in residence students will be provided with a bed, desk, lamp, mirror, sheets, pillowcase, and blankets. Please be advised that the dress code for class is informal. We recommend that students bring the following items with them to PEI:

  • Casual clothes for daily wear
  • Sweatshirts and/or sweaters
  • Warm jacket
  • Rain jacket
  • Running shoes
  • Towels and face cloths
  • Laundry soap (laundry services available in residence)
  • Personal hygiene items (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush...)
  • Swimsuit and a beach towel
  • Sunglasses and sunscreen
  • Prescription medication (if needed)
  • ATM card
  • Government-issued identification with your current picture and birth date
  • French-English dictionary (or of your first language)
  • Provincial Health Card*

*However, medical insurance from Quebec may not cover the total cost of a hospital visit and therefore some students choose to purchase an additional insurance to cover the difference in price.
